Middle School - Principal's Challenge

"A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor." Proverbs 22:9

My challenge to all house members is to gather as many canned goods as you can for your house. As you bring your canned goods to school, it will be your responsibility to bring your canned goods to the correct house…not your homeroom. Your "House" leader will log your contributions to the food drive. The Principal will use this log to sign your point sheet.

During our Grandparents/Special Person's Mass, two representatives from each class will carry a basket of canned goods to the altar during presentation of gifts. The baskets will be placed around the altar to represent your efforts. After mass, all canned goods will be gathered and taken to St. Vincent DePaul. Your efforts in this collection will allow you to receive many graces from God as you share your wealth with the less fortunate.

The house who collects the highest number of canned goods will receive a special reward from the principal when we return to school after Thanksgiving Break.

St. Ann School shares in the mission of the Catholic Church and our Christian families to provide a religious and academic education to prepare our students to be responsible members of families, church, and community.
