Welcome KYA delegates and parents! We were pleased with the number of students who attended the first KYA meeting. Bill ideas were exceptional, and we cannot wait until our next meeting on Tuesday, September 23. We will meet until 5:00 and present bill ideas to the whole group.

Parents

An information letter, financial assistance, and intent to participate forms were sent home with each child who attended the informational meeting on Wednesday, September 17.

Calendar of Events

Tuesday, September 23 until 5:00: bill presentation and debate, write bills

Tuesday, September 30 until 4:00: finalize bills, begin persuasive speeches

Wednesday, October 1: Final day to turn in "Intent to Participate" form (Must be submitted by October 1 to attend.)

Wednesday, October 1: Financial Aid form due

TBA: Parliamentary Procedure, Pro/Con Speeches/Itenerary (After Fall Break)

Wednesday, October 15: Registration forms and money due

(Students receive a copy when they turn in the "Intent to Participate". (Forms and money must be submitted by October 15 to participate.)
