Homework for the week of May 12, 2008:

I want to thank you for all that you did to help our class raise money for our charity, Mary Carrico School. Through donations and the Sports Shirt Day we have collected almost $300.00 Someone from the school is coming to the Make a Difference Assembly Tuesday to accept our donation.

You should receive a field trip permission slip Monday. Please fill it out and return it by Wednesday.

On the last Wednesday of school, May 21, we are having Show and Tell in the afternoon. Watch for a letter home explaining this.

For the remainder of the year, we will do more than one Reading story during the week in order to complete the book. The quizzes will serve as just worksheets from this point and we will be allowed to use our book to answer the questions.

We will not have a Spelling test this week, but I am planning one last Spelling test next week.
